2025 Denim & Diamonds Fundraising Season
Every year individuals and businesses from Lyon County and surrounding areas gather to celebrate and emphasize the importance of strong healthcare resources for our region. With a record-breaking year of fundraising in 2024, Newman Regional Health is excited to partner with you to achieve the health goals for the Greater Emporia community.
The 16th annual Denim & Diamonds will be held at Webb Hall on the campus of Emporia State University, Friday, August 1, 2025
Newman Regional Health continues to demonstrate its commitment to exceptional care and innovation through the proceeds of its Denim and Diamonds annual fundraiser. This year, funds will support the upgrade of the WS and EC Jones Cardiovascular Laboratory (Cath Lab), a facility accredited by the American College of Cardiology that provides an ever-expanding range of procedures. In the past year, the lab introduced shockwave intravascular lithotripsy to clear plaque from coronary vessels, showcasing its dedication to cutting-edge techniques.
The hospital aims to purchase new state-of-the-art imaging equipment, enhancing the resolution of heart vessel images, and to upgrade the intravascular ultrasound system for superior detection of abnormalities in heart and extremity arteries. These advancements reaffirm Newman Regional Health’s mission to deliver high-quality, innovative care close to home.
