Kansas Nursing Service Scholarship
Working with the Kansas Board of Regents Newman Regional Health has agreed to be a sponsoring facility to help offset tuition for nursing students seeking either LPN or RN degrees in return for a work-service commitment to work at Newman Regional Health either in the medical surgical unit, intensive care unit, clinical decision unit, or an available position at time of graduation.

Newman Regional Health Nursing Educational Loan
Current nursing students enrolled in an accredited nursing program who are working on an LPN or RN degree can apply and receive a pre-graduation forgivable loan in exchange for a work commitment.
Newman Regional Health Radiology and Respiratory Therapy Educational Loan
Current students seeking a degree in either radiologic technology or respiratory therapy can apply for and receive a pre-graduation forgivable loan for a work commitment.
Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program
Dedicated to working in healthcare facilities with a critical shortage
of nurses or working as nurse faculty in eligible schools of nursing by decreasing the economic barriers associated with pursuing careers at such Critical Shortage Facilities (CSFs) or in academic nursing. In return for a commitment to work at eligible healthcare facilities with a critical shortage of nurses or serve as nurse faculty in eligible schools of nursing.
The Newman Regional Health Volunteers’ Healthcare Scholarship Program
The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to students pursuing their education in healthcare. Areas may include but are not limited to, pharmacy, biology, chemistry, nursing, respiratory therapy, physical and occupational therapy, nutrition, and other non-clinical healthcare fields. Applicants must have graduated from a high school in one of the following counties: Lyon, Chase, Greenwood, Osage, Morris, or Coffey County.
