2024: 15 Years of Healthcare Improvements

We are currently organizing our 15th annual hospital fundraiser, Denim & Diamonds, which aims to raise funds for state-of-the-art technology and equipment. These resources are crucial in enhancing the quality of care and treatment we provide to our patients. By participating, you will directly contribute to the well-being and recovery of individuals in our community. 

This year, Newman Regional Health will be investing over $4 million in capital purchases to include state-of-the-art technology, diagnostic equipment, and facility construction. The proceeds from this milestone year of Denim & Diamonds will be directed towards these projects and future enhancements in our facility. Among these projects is the acquisition and installation of an orthopedic robotic surgical arm, designed to enhance precision, reduce pain, and allow for faster recovery times. We are also committed to advancing our imaging capabilities and will be constructing a radiology fluoroscopy room equipped with the Agfa DR 800 Multi-tool. This advanced technology improves the patient’s experience and lowers radiation dosing. Additionally, we will be replacing our current infant hearing equipment. Infant hearing testing is essential for the early detection and intervention of hearing loss, which can have a profound impact on a child’s language development, social-emotional well-being, education success, and overall quality of life.
