Frequently Asked Questions on Medical Billing

We understand that medical expenses can create financial concerns for you and it can be difficult to understand the cost of healthcare. We are here to help you find the best way forward and are prepared to discuss your payment options.

Are physician charges included in my statement?

Yes, if the service you received was by a physician who is employed or contracted by Newman Regional Health or Newman Regional Health Medical Partners. You might also get bills from other doctors who helped with your care, like a specialist or someone who ran tests.

Will insurance cover all of my services?

While each plan is different, your plan may cover all or some of the cost of your treatment or services, less any deductible, co-pay, and co-insurance amounts, which are your responsibility. Your plan may not cover items such as certain services and conditions, for which you may be entirely responsible. Please refer to your policy or contact Patient Accounts at (620)343-6800 extension 21153.
