Laundry Love History
Greg Russinger is Laundry Love’s Co-founder and National Board President. Greg and several others were committed to the no/low income person(s) and families in the downtown area of Ventura. The group built relationship with Eric, who went by the name T-Bone. After many conversations and time spent, a question was asked of Eric.
“How can we come alongside your life in a meaningful way?”, in which he replied, “If I had clean clothes people would treat me like a human being.” Laundry Love was born.
Laundry Love Mission
Laundry Love washes the clothes and bedding of low/no income families and person(s) across the US. We brighten the lives of thousands of people through love, dignity, and detergent by partnering with diverse groups and laundromats nationwide — the last 17+ years have taught us time and time again, clean
clothes matter.
Established 2003 in Ventura, California. In its infancy, Laundry Love never planned on becoming a nationwide movement. Since inception Laundry Love has washed close to 2 million loads of Laundry and served over 1.2 million people.
